It is famous for the laser tag, go- carts, bumper boats, log boats, mechanical stage coaches, and gold rush runaway train. You could experience the thrill and adventure of this family oriented park in the months of May and September.

If you wish to start your journey from route 112, you could visit the White Mountains center located in North Woodstock. Many other amazing parks and entertainment centers have been developed on different routes for your enjoyment. Some of the parks include Echo Lake State Park, Franconia Notch state Park, Forest Lake Park and many others. If you are with kids, you could take 3N route. Whale’s Tale attraction is an interesting place where your kids will love to visit and play around.

Different hikes for those who love thrill and adventure

Many strenuous hikes are organized for the tourists. The region undergoes rapid weather changes. Hence, it is advisable to make enquiry for the weather before planning for this adventurous sports. Make sure that you do not wear slippery footwear or shoes. You could carry extra jacket, some food, water, and other necessary items with you to avoid any kind of inconvenience.  Besides this, sandy lakeside beaches, crystal clear mountain lakes, and golf courses are other exciting places to visit.

Experience the serenity of waterfalls

Sitting near the waterfalls is the best way to experience the beauty of nature, relieve stress and relax. White Mountains offer you array of waterfalls that is located at different routes. Waterfalls like Flume Cascades Silver can be easily observed from the foot of the mountain. Before visiting these eye soothing waterfalls, it is advisable to take few precautions-

  • Try to wear rubber soled walking shoes. The region near waterfalls becomes wet during autumn. Hence, it is advisable to take proper precautions.
  • Do not swim in the restricted area
  • Never drink the water of the falls, as it might be poisonous.

Some of the awe- aspiring waterfalls in the white mountains include Lower Ammonoosuc falls, Ayassiz Basin, Baker River, Avalanche Falls, Beaver Brook Falls, Bear camp Falls to name a few.
